Contribution
It presents the first direct experimental measurement of the magnetocaloric effect in Ni43Mn37.9In12.1Co7 Heusler alloy under high magnetic fields.
Findings
Quantitative data on magnetocaloric effect at various fields
Insights into the alloy's magnetic phase transitions
Potential applications in magnetic refrigeration
Abstract
The magnetocaloric effect in the metamagnetic Ni43Mn37.9In12.1Co7 Heusler alloy is directly studied experimentally under the adiabatic and quasi-isothermal conditions in a magnetic field with induction of up to 14 T.
