Contribution
It provides a novel characterization of nonuniform power instability through Lyapunov sequences and offers comprehensive conditions for this property.
Findings
Characterization of nonuniform power instability via Lyapunov sequences
Necessary and sufficient conditions for instability in Banach spaces
New insights into stability analysis of discrete-time systems
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present necessary and sufficient conditions for nonuniform power instability property of linear discrete-time systems in Banach spaces. A characterization of the nonuniform power instability in terms of Lyapunov sequences is also given.
