M. De Sanctis, J. Ferretti, E. Santopinto, A. Vassallo

TL;DR
This paper extends a relativistic quark-diquark model of baryons by adding a spin-isospin transition interaction, enabling more accurate calculations of the non-strange baryon spectrum and comparison with experimental data.
Contribution
The paper introduces a novel spin-isospin transition interaction into the relativistic quark-diquark model of baryons, enhancing its predictive power.
Findings
Improved baryon spectrum calculations
Better agreement with experimental data
Validation of the extended model
Abstract
The relativistic interacting quark-diquark model of baryons, recently developed, is here extended to introduce a spin-isospin transition interaction into the mass operator. The refined version of the model is used to calculate the non strange baryon spectrum. The results are compared to the present experimental data.
