Spin structure of the nucleon on the light front
C\'edric Lorc\'e (Li\`ege U.)

TL;DR
This paper reviews the nucleon spin structure using light-front formulation, discussing sum rules, angular momentum definitions, and spin-orbit correlations to deepen understanding of nucleon internal dynamics.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of nucleon spin structure in the light-front framework, clarifying key theoretical concepts and their interrelations.
Findings
Clarification of longitudinal and transverse spin sum rules
Proper definition of canonical orbital angular momentum
Analysis of spin-orbit correlation in nucleons
Abstract
We briefly review the spin structure of the nucleon and show that it is best thought in the light-front formulation. We discuss in particular the longitudinal and transverse spin sum rules, the proper definition of canonical orbital angular momentum and the spin-orbit correlation.
