Large N Chern-Simons with massive fundamental fermions - A model with no bound states
Yitzhak Frishman, Jacob Sonnenschein

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that in a large N Chern-Simons theory with massive fundamental fermions, no bound states form, extending previous results to show the complete absence of bound states in this model.
Contribution
It proves that the theory has no bound states at all, not just high mass quark anti-quark states, in the large N, large K limit with fixed Lambda.
Findings
No bound states exist in the model.
Previous results on high mass bound states are extended.
The theory remains unbound at all energy scales.
Abstract
In a previous paper, we analyzed the theory of massive fermions in the fundamental representation coupled to a U(N) Chern-Simons gauge theory in three dimensions at level K. It was done in the large N, large K limits where Lambda=N/K was kept fixed. Among other results, we showed there that there are no high mass quark anti-quark bound states. Here we show that there are no bound states at all.
