Extraction of $\sin^2\theta^{\rm lept}_{\rm eff}$ and indirect measurement of $m_w$ from the 9 fb$^{-1}$ full run ii sample of $\mu^+\mu^-$ events at cdf
A. Bodek (for the CDF Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper presents a precise extraction of the effective weak mixing angle and an indirect measurement of the W boson mass using muon pair events at CDF, based on the full Run II dataset, improving the understanding of electroweak parameters.
Contribution
It provides the most accurate measurement to date of $ ext{sin}^2 heta^{ m lept}_{ m eff}$ and an indirect determination of $M_W$ from muon pair asymmetries at the Tevatron.
Findings
Measured $ ext{sin}^2 heta^{ m lept}_{ m eff} = 0.2315 \
Determined $M_W$ indirectly as 80.365 GeV/c$^2$ with 0.047 GeV/c$^2$ uncertainty.
Achieved combined statistical and systematic uncertainties in electroweak parameter measurements.
Abstract
We report on the extraction of and indirect measurement of the mass of the W boson from the forward-backward asymmetry of events in the boson mass region. The data sample collected by the CDF detector corresponds to the full 9 fb run II sample. We measure , and , where each uncertainty includes both statistical and systematic contributions.
