Screening of quark-monopole in N=4 plasma
Wei-shui Xu, Ding-fang Zeng

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of a quark-monopole bound system in N=4 SYM plasma using AdS/CFT, focusing on its screening length and how it compares to quark-antiquark pairs.
Contribution
It provides the first calculation of the screening length for a quark-monopole system in plasma, revealing it is smaller than that of quark-antiquark pairs.
Findings
Screening length of quark-monopole system is smaller than quark-antiquark system.
The system's screening length decreases with velocity.
AdS/CFT correspondence effectively models quark-monopole interactions in plasma.
Abstract
We study a quark-monopole bound system moving in N=4 SYM plasma with a constant velocity by the AdS/CFT correspondence. The screening length of this system is calculated, and is smaller than that of the quark-antiquark bound state.
