Release of physical modes from unphysical fields
Yoshiharu Kawamura

TL;DR
This paper proposes a model where physical modes emerge from unphysical fields via dimensional reduction, using fermionic symmetries to render fields unobservable in a higher-dimensional space-time.
Contribution
It introduces a novel toy model demonstrating how observable physical modes can originate from unphysical fields through a higher-dimensional framework and fermionic symmetries.
Findings
Physical modes can emerge from unphysical fields.
Fermionic symmetries make fields unobservable.
Dimensional reduction reveals observable modes.
Abstract
We present a basic idea and a toy model that physical modes originate from unobservable fields. The model is defined on a higher-dimensional space-time and has fermionic symmetries that make fields unphysical, and observable modes can appear through a dimensional reduction.
