The Production of $\Xi_{bb}$ at Photon Collider
Zhong-Juan Yang, Xiao-Xia Zhao (Henan Polytech. U.)

TL;DR
This paper studies the production of the doubly heavy baryon $ ext{Xi}_{bb}$ at photon colliders, analyzing how polarization and color states affect production rates across different energies.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of $ ext{Xi}_{bb}$ production considering both color triplet and sextet states and the impact of initial beam polarization.
Findings
Color sextet contributes about 8% to $ ext{Xi}_{bb}$ production.
Production rate decreases with increasing collision energy from 91 GeV to 1000 GeV.
Proper beam polarization can enhance $ ext{Xi}_{bb}$ production by approximately 17%.
Abstract
The inclusive production of the doubly heavy baryon is investigated at polarized and unpolar- ized photon collider. bb pair in both color triplet and sextet have been considered to transform into . The results indicate that the contribution from color sextet is about 8% for production. For the ILC collision energy ranging from 91GeV to 1000GeV, the total cross section of shows a downtrend, i.e., the production of has the maximal rate at . Our results indicate that the initial beam polarization may be an important asset for the production of . At some collision point, the production rate of can be increased about 17% with an appropriate choice of the initial beam polarization.
