${\rm K}_{\rm S}^{0}$ and $\Lambda$ Production in Charged Particle Jets in p--Pb Collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV with ALICE
Xiaoming Zhang (for the ALICE Collaboration)

TL;DR
This study investigates the production of ${ m K}_{ m S}^{0}$ mesons and $ extLambda$ baryons within jets in p--Pb collisions at 5.02 TeV, comparing jet-associated and inclusive particle distributions to understand particle production mechanisms.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed comparison of ${ m K}_{ m S}^{0}$ and $ extLambda$ production in jets versus inclusive spectra in p--Pb collisions at the LHC.
Findings
The $ extLambda/{ m K}_{ m S}^{0}$ ratio varies with multiplicity and jet parameters.
Jet-associated particle production differs from inclusive distributions.
Results help understand hadronization in small collision systems.
Abstract
We study the production of mesons and baryons in jets in p--Pb collisions at TeV with ALICE at the LHC. The -differential density of the particles produced in jets is compared to the inclusive distributions and the ratio is reported in bins of multiplicity of the collisions. The hard scatterings are selected on an event-by-event basis using the anti- clustering algorithm with resolution parameter and , reconstructed from charged particles with a minimum of (or ) GeV/.
