TL;DR
This paper analyzes the cyclic shifting of the last sunset points across mainland Europe throughout the year, revealing that the latest sunset location varies with Earth's tilt and is not always at the westernmost point.
Contribution
It provides a detailed, cyclical mapping of the last sunset locations in mainland Europe, challenging the assumption that the westernmost point always has the latest sunset.
Findings
Last sunset shifts from Portugal to Norway over the year.
Two days when Europe's last sunset coincides with Africa's.
The last sunset location varies with Earth's axial tilt.
