Unsuitable use of spin and pseudospin symmetries with a pseudoscalar Cornell potential
L. B. Castro, A. S. de Castro

TL;DR
This paper critiques the improper application of spin and pseudospin symmetries in the context of a pseudoscalar Cornell potential, emphasizing the need for more thorough analysis of fermion bound states.
Contribution
It clarifies the misuse of spin and pseudospin symmetries and highlights existing comprehensive studies on fermion bound states in pseudoscalar Cornell potentials.
Findings
Misuse of symmetries in prior work
Existing complete analysis of fermion bound states
Call for proper application of symmetry concepts
Abstract
The concepts of spin and pseudospin symmetries has been used as mere rhetorics to decorate the pseudoscalar potential [Chin. Phys. B 22 090301 (2013)]. It is also pointed out that a more complete analysis of the bound states of fermions in a a pseudoscalar Cornell potential has already been published elsewhere.
