TL;DR
Mantid is a comprehensive software framework designed for analyzing and visualizing neutron scattering and muon spin data, facilitating scientific research at major neutron and muon facilities.
Contribution
It introduces a novel software framework that integrates analysis and visualization tools specifically for neutron and muon experimental data.
Findings
Supports complex data analysis workflows
Enhances visualization capabilities for neutron and muon data
Developed collaboratively by major research facilities
Abstract
The Mantid framework is a software solution developed for the analysis and visualization of neutron scattering and muon spin measurements. The framework is jointly developed by software engineers and scientists at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Facility and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The objectives, functionality and novel design aspects of Mantid are described.
