Limit theorems for skew translations
Jory Griffin, Jens Marklof

TL;DR
This paper establishes limit theorems for skew translations of a torus, extending recent results from translation, horocycle, and tiling flows to this new class of dynamical systems.
Contribution
It introduces limit theorems specifically for skew translations of a torus, filling a gap in the understanding of their statistical properties.
Findings
Proves limit theorems for skew translations of a torus.
Extends previous limit theorems to new dynamical systems.
Provides a foundation for further statistical analysis of skew translations.
Abstract
Bufetov, Bufetov-Forni and Bufetov-Solomyak have recently proved limit theorems for translation flows, horocycle flows and tiling flows, respectively. We present here analogous results for skew translations of a torus.
