Jiajun Liao, D. Marfatia, K. Whisnant

TL;DR
This paper explores a grand unified theory-inspired model with partial quark-lepton universality, linking it to neutrino CP violation, and predicts a narrow range for the Dirac CP phase based on current mixing data.
Contribution
It introduces a model connecting quark and lepton sectors with a single CP phase constraint, providing a novel prediction for neutrino CP violation.
Findings
Predicted Dirac CP phase range: -32.4° to 32.0° at 2σ
Reduced model constraints to a single condition on δ
Supports partial quark-lepton universality in GUT frameworks
Abstract
We study a model with partial quark-lepton universality that can naturally arise in grand unified theories. We find that constraints on the model can be reduced to a single condition on the Dirac CP phase in the neutrino sector. Using our current knowledge of the CKM and PMNS mixing matrices, we predict at .
