Marcus Berg, Michael Haack, Jin U. Kang, Stefan Sjors

TL;DR
This paper computes one-loop string corrections to the Kahler metric of moduli in Calabi-Yau orientifolds, focusing on the complex N=1 sectors influenced by all massive string states.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed evaluation of one-loop contributions to the Kahler metric in N=1 sectors of Calabi-Yau orientifolds, including all massive string states.
Findings
Explicit one-loop corrections to the Kahler metric derived.
Insights into the role of massive string states in moduli stabilization.
Enhanced understanding of quantum effects in string compactifications.
Abstract
We evaluate string one-loop contributions to the Kahler metric of closed string moduli in toroidal minimally supersymmetric (Calabi-Yau) orientifolds with D-branes. We focus on the poorly understood N=1 sectors that receive contributions from all massive string states.
