Arseniy V. Akopyan, Sergey A. Pirogov, Aleksandr N. Rybko

TL;DR
This paper constructs a non-linear Markov process modeling bacterial genome recombination and characterizes its invariant measures, providing insights into a fundamental probability theory problem.
Contribution
It introduces a novel non-linear Markov process linked to bacterial genome recombination and describes its invariant measures, addressing a key probability theory question.
Findings
Invariant measures characterized for the process
Solution to a classical probability problem
New connection between biology and probability theory
Abstract
We construct the non-linear Markov process connected with biological model of bacterial genome recombination. The description of invariant measures of this process gives us the solution of one problem in elementary probability theory.
