TL;DR
This paper reconstructs an $f(G)$ gravity model based on QCD ghost dark energy in a flat FRW universe, demonstrating that the generalized second law of thermodynamics holds for this model.
Contribution
It introduces a novel reconstruction scheme for $f(G)$ gravity using QCD ghost dark energy and analyzes thermodynamic validity in this context.
Findings
Effective equation of state shows quintessence behavior.
Generalized second law of thermodynamics is valid in the reconstructed model.
Model is based on power-law scale factor in flat FRW universe.
Abstract
Considering power-law for of scale factor in a flat FRW universe we reported a reconstruction scheme for gravity based on QCD ghost dark energy. We reconstructed the effective equation of state parameter and observed "quintessence" behavior of the equation of state parameter. Furthermore, considering dynamical apparent horizon as the enveloping horizon of the universe we have observed that the generalized second law of thermodynamics is valid for this reconstructed gravity.
