TL;DR
This paper reviews how saturated NLO perturbative QCD minijet initial conditions, combined with viscous hydrodynamics, can describe global observables in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions at LHC and RHIC.
Contribution
It integrates saturated NLO pQCD minijet calculations with viscous hydrodynamics to improve understanding of heavy-ion collision data.
Findings
Good agreement with experimental data
Validates the use of saturated NLO pQCD in initial condition modeling
Highlights importance of viscous effects in hydrodynamical evolution
Abstract
We review the recent results from the computation of saturated next-to-leading order perturbative QCD minijet intial conditions combined with viscous hydrodynamical evolution of ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions at the LHC and RHIC. Comparison with experimental data is shown.
