Plasmon decay to a neutrino pair via neutrino electromagnetic moments in a strongly magnetized medium
A. V. Borisov, P. E. Sizin

TL;DR
This paper calculates how plasmon decay in a strongly magnetized medium can produce neutrino pairs via neutrino electromagnetic moments, providing upper bounds on the neutrino magnetic moment based on these processes.
Contribution
It introduces a method to estimate neutrino luminosity from plasmon decay in magnetic fields and derives new upper bounds on neutrino electromagnetic moments.
Findings
Neutrino luminosity depends on magnetic field strength and plasma conditions.
Derived upper bounds on the effective neutrino magnetic moment.
Quantified the role of plasmon decay in neutrino emission in magnetized environments.
Abstract
We calculate the neutrino luminosity of a degenerate electron gas in a strong magnetic field via plasmon decay to a neutrino pair due to neutrino electromagnetic moments and obtain the relative upper bounds on the effective neutrino magnetic moment.
