TL;DR
This paper explores how $Z_b$ resonances contribute to $$ decays involving multiple pions and $$ states, suggesting a new decay pathway that could reveal insights into the internal structure of these resonances.
Contribution
It proposes that $Z_b$ resonances significantly contribute to $$ decay processes involving multiple pions, indicating a novel decay mechanism involving cascade transitions.
Findings
Evidence suggests $Z_b$ resonances contribute to three-pion decay spectrum.
Potential observation of $Z_b$ transitions to lower bottomonium states with different light mesons.
Highlights a new decay pathway involving cascade processes with $Z_b$ resonances.
Abstract
We discuss the recently presented Belle results on the decays . The data indicate that in addition to the emission, , there is a significant non resonant background in the three pion spectrum. We suggest that a sizable fraction of this background may be associated with the cascade process involving the and resonances. If confirmed by the data, this would be the first observation of transition from the resonances to lower bottomonium with emission of a light meson state different from a single pion, which may provide a new input in understanding of the internal dynamics of these resonances.
