TL;DR
This paper introduces a method to investigate potential mass degeneracy between particles of different spins using cascade decay processes, which could reveal interesting behaviors if such degeneracy exists.
Contribution
The paper proposes a novel approach to probe mass degeneracy across particles with different spins through cascade decay analysis.
Findings
Potential mass degeneracy of X(3872) can cause distinctive decay behaviors
Method provides a new way to test spin-related mass similarities
Applicable to other particle decay channels
Abstract
The spin is an important property of a particle. Although it is unlikely to happen, there is still a possibility that two particle with different spins share similar masses. In this paper, we propose a method to probe this kind of mass degeneracy of particles with different spins. We will use the cascade decay , to explain our method. It can be seen that the possible mass degeneracy of can lead interesting behavior in the corresponding cascade decay.
