Contribution
It provides the first estimates of diffractive Z boson pair production cross sections in large extra dimensions at LHC energies using the Durham model.
Findings
Feasible experimental analysis of central inclusive production in pp collisions.
Estimated cross sections suggest detectable signals at CERN LHC.
Differentiates between inclusive and exclusive diffractive production modes.
Abstract
In this paper we study the diffractive boson pair production mediated by the Kaluza-Klein graviton in the large extra dimensions scenario at the CERN Large Hadron Collider energies. Considering the Durham model we estimate the total cross section for the central inclusive and exclusive diffractive production of a boson pair in collisions. Our results indicate that the experimental analysis of the central inclusive production in collisions is feasible at CERN LHC.
