V. P. Goncalves, M. L. L. da Silva

TL;DR
This paper proposes studying the photoproduction of exotic charmoniumlike states in proton-proton collisions at RHIC and LHC to better understand their nature through estimated cross sections and rapidity distributions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to investigate exotic hadrons via photon-hadron interactions in high-energy collisions, providing predictions for experimental verification.
Findings
Estimated rapidity distributions for exotic states
Predicted total cross sections at RHIC and LHC energies
Suggested experimental analysis can clarify the nature of these states
Abstract
In this paper we propose the study of the photoproduction of charmoniumlike states in collisions at RHIC and LHC energies and estimate the rapidity distribution and total cross sections for the production of the exotic hadrons , , and . We demonstrate that the experimental analysis of this process can provide complementary and independent checks on these states, and help to understand their underlying nature.
