Renormalization group and divergences
Giovanni Gallavotti

TL;DR
This paper revisits the application of asymptotic freedom to ultraviolet stability in Euclidean quantum field theories, using the hierarchical model and recent technical developments related to Wilson's renormalization group.
Contribution
It introduces a refined analysis of ultraviolet stability leveraging the hierarchical model and advances in renormalization group techniques inspired by Wilson's foundational work.
Findings
Demonstrates the effectiveness of the hierarchical model in analyzing ultraviolet stability.
Shows how recent technical developments enhance understanding of renormalization group flows.
Provides insights into the role of asymptotic freedom in quantum field theories.
Abstract
Application of asymptotic freedom to the ultraviolet stability in Euclidean quantum field theories is revisited and illustrated through the hierarchical model making also use of a few technical developments that followed the original works of Wilson on the renormalization group.
