On maximal ideals in certain reduced twisted C*-crossed products
Erik B\'edos, Roberto Conti

TL;DR
This paper establishes conditions under which maximal invariant ideals of a unital C*-algebra correspond bijectively to maximal ideals in the associated reduced twisted C*-crossed product, advancing understanding of ideal structures in crossed products.
Contribution
It provides new criteria linking invariant ideals of A with maximal ideals in the reduced twisted C*-crossed product, clarifying their relationship.
Findings
Bijection between maximal invariant ideals of A and maximal ideals in the crossed product.
Conditions for the existence of this bijection are explicitly characterized.
Enhances understanding of ideal structure in twisted crossed products.
Abstract
We consider a twisted action of a discrete group G on a unital C*-algebra A and give conditions ensuring that there is a bijective correspondence between the maximal invariant ideals of A and the maximal ideals in the associated reduced C*-crossed product.
