U-dual branes and mixed symmetry tensor fields
Athanasios Chatzistavrakidis, Fridrik Freyr Gautason

TL;DR
This paper reviews the connection between U-dual branes in string theory and mixed symmetry tensors, highlighting their role in fluxes during string compactifications.
Contribution
It clarifies the relationship between U-dual branes and mixed symmetry tensors, emphasizing their significance in string theory flux compactifications.
Findings
Mixed symmetry tensors relate to various fluxes in string compactifications.
U-dual branes are associated with specific mixed symmetry tensor fields.
The review enhances understanding of flux roles in string theory.
Abstract
We review and explain the relation between U-dual branes in string theory and mixed symmetry tensors of various degrees. In certain cases these mixed symmetry tensors can be related to diverse types of fluxes that play an important role in compactifications of string theory.
