D.J. Thelan, J.A. Gracey

TL;DR
This paper investigates the one-loop effective action of the refined Gribov-Zwanziger theory, incorporating the most general BRST-invariant mass operator, and identifies the energetically favorable color channel as the R direction.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive analysis of the effective action with a general BRST-invariant mass operator in the refined Gribov-Zwanziger framework.
Findings
The R color channel is energetically favored.
The formalism includes the most general BRST dimension two operator.
The analysis advances understanding of the Gribov horizon and confinement mechanisms.
Abstract
We analyse the one loop effective action of the Gribov-Zwanziger Lagrangian and use the local composite operator formalism to include the most general Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin (BRST) dimension two mass operator for the localizing ghost fields. We show that the energetically favourable colour channel corresponds to what is known as the R direction.
