TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of the masses and decay widths of the $oldsymbol{ ext{Sigma}_c}$ baryons using Belle detector data, providing the most accurate values to date for these states.
Contribution
The study presents the most precise measurements of the masses, decay widths, and isospin mass splittings of $oldsymbol{ ext{Sigma}_c}(2455)$ and $oldsymbol{ ext{Sigma}_c}(2520)$ baryons, improving upon previous results.
Findings
Mass differences with respect to $oldsymbol{ ext{Lambda}_c^+}$ are measured precisely.
Decay widths of the baryons are determined with reduced uncertainties.
Isospin mass splittings are measured for the first time with high precision.
Abstract
We present measurements of the masses and decay widths of the baryonic states and using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 711 fb collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider operating at the resonance. We report the mass differences with respect to the baryon MeV/, MeV/, MeV/, MeV/, and the decay widths MeV/, $\Gamma(\Sigma_{c}(2455)^{++}) =…
