TL;DR
This paper presents lattice QCD calculations of the pion's internal structure, specifically its parton distribution functions and form factors, at various momentum transfers and near physical pion masses.
Contribution
It provides new lattice QCD results for the pion's structure using improved Wilson fermions at near-physical pion masses.
Findings
Lowest moment of parton distribution functions reported
Generalized form factors computed at multiple momentum transfers
Calculations performed with N_f=2 flavors of improved Wilson fermions
Abstract
We report on the lowest moment of parton distribution functions and generalized form factors for the pion at several values of the momentum transfer. Calculations are performed for N_f=2 flavors of O(a) improved Wilson fermions with pion masses down to 150 MeV.
