LArSoft: A Software Package for Liquid Argon Time Projection Drift Chambers
Eric D. Church

TL;DR
LArSoft is a comprehensive software toolkit designed for simulation, analysis, and reconstruction of Liquid Argon Time Projection Chambers, supporting multiple detectors in the US neutrino research program.
Contribution
It introduces a mature, versatile software package that facilitates data processing for Liquid Argon TPCs, streamlining analysis workflows for upcoming experiments.
Findings
LArSoft has been adopted by several Liquid Argon TPC projects.
The package enables efficient simulation and analysis workflows.
It has already supported significant analyses in the field.
Abstract
We describe in these GLA2011 proceedings the software package LArSoft, a toolkit to perform simulation, analysis and reconstruction with the Liquid Argon (LAr) Time Projection Chambers (TPCs) within the US program of proposed detectors. We demonstrate that LArSoft is a fast-maturing, sophisticated package which has taken on important analyses already, and which stands ready to be adopted by as many as five Liquid Argon Time Projection Chambers.
