The development version of the CHEVIE package of GAP3
Jean Michel

TL;DR
This paper discusses the latest development version of the CHEVIE package in GAP3, which provides computational tools for algebraic structures like Coxeter groups and Hecke algebras, including code examples for verifying Lusztig's results.
Contribution
It introduces the updated features and capabilities of the CHEVIE package, enhancing computational algebra research.
Findings
Updated code for algebraic computations
Verification of Lusztig's results using CHEVIE
Enhanced tools for Coxeter groups and related structures
Abstract
I describe the current state of the development version of the CHEVIE package, which deals with Coxeter groups, reductive algebraic groups, complex reflection groups, Hecke algebras, braid monoids, etc... Examples are given, showing the code to check some results of Lusztig.
