Epistemic Logic for Communication Chains
Jeffrey Kane, Pavel Naumov

TL;DR
This paper develops a logical framework to analyze the epistemic properties of linear communication chains, introducing axioms that capture their structure within a multi-modal logic system.
Contribution
It presents a sound and complete logical system with novel axioms specifically designed for the linear structure of communication chains.
Findings
Logical system is sound and complete.
Axioms effectively capture linear communication structure.
Framework enhances understanding of epistemic properties in communication sequences.
Abstract
The paper considers epistemic properties of linear communication chains. It describes a sound and complete logical system that, in addition to the standard axioms of S5 in a multi-modal language, contains two non-trivial axioms that capture the linear structure of communication chains.
