Putting the A-stars into context: concluding remarks
Charles R. Cowley

TL;DR
This paper emphasizes the need for theoretical models of A stars to incorporate external processes like mass transfer and circumstellar infall alongside traditional internal mechanisms such as radiative levitation and gravitational settling.
Contribution
It advocates for expanding A star models to include exogenous processes, enhancing understanding of their atmospheric and evolutionary behaviors.
Findings
Highlighting the importance of external processes in A star modeling
Calling for integrated approaches in theoretical efforts
Suggesting new directions for future research
Abstract
Concluding remarks following the international conference "Putting A Stars into Context," 3-7 June 2013 in Moscow. We argue that it is time for theoretical efforts to consider exogenous processes such as mass transfer or circumstellar infall as well as the standard endogenous processes of radiative levitation, gravitational settling, and mass-dependent separation in winds.
