Daehee Numbers and polynomials
Dae San Kim, Taekyun Kim

TL;DR
This paper explores the properties of Daehee numbers and polynomials, focusing on their Witt-type formula and connections to Bernoulli numbers, revealing new relationships and characteristics.
Contribution
It introduces new properties of Daehee numbers and polynomials and their links to higher-order Bernoulli numbers and Bernoulli numbers of the second kind.
Findings
Daehee numbers are related to higher-order Bernoulli numbers.
Daehee polynomials have specific properties derived from Witt-type formulas.
New relationships between Daehee numbers and Bernoulli numbers are established.
Abstract
We consider the Witt-type formula for Daehee numbrers and polynomials and investigate some properties of those numbers and polynomials. In particular, Daehee numbers are closely related to higher-order Bernoulli numbers and Bernoulli numbers of the second kind.
