TL;DR
This study measures exclusive e+e- annihilation into specific meson pairs at energies near 10.6 GeV, observing some signals for the first time and setting limits on certain cross section ratios across different energies.
Contribution
First observation of certain meson pair production signals at these energies and detailed analysis of their energy dependence and cross section ratios.
Findings
Significant signals for $oldsymbol{ ext{ωπ}^0}$, $oldsymbol{K^{ extast}(892)^0ar{K}^0}$, and $oldsymbol{K_2^{ extast}(1430)^- ext{K}^+}$ observed.
No significant signals for some other channels, leading to upper limits on cross section ratios.
Energy dependence of cross sections presented across three center-of-mass energies.
Abstract
Using data samples of 89 fb, 703 fb, and 121 fb collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider at center-of-mass energies 10.52 GeV, 10.58 GeV, and 10.876 GeV, respectively, we study the exclusive reactions , , and (Charge-conjugate modes are included implicitly). Significant signals of , , and are observed for the first time at these energies, and the energy dependencies of the cross sections are presented. On the other hand, no significant excesses for and are found, and we set limits on the cross section ratios 4.3, 20.0, and 5.4, and…
