Qing-Yong Lin, Xiang Liu, Hu-Shan Xu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production of the charged charmoniumlike state $Z_c(3900)^+$ via meson photoproduction, providing theoretical cross section estimates and analysis to guide experimental searches around 7 GeV.
Contribution
It offers the first detailed theoretical prediction of $Z_c(3900)^+$ production cross sections and identifies optimal energy conditions for experimental detection.
Findings
Maximum cross section around 0.1 microbarns.
Dalitz plot analysis distinguishes signal from background.
Optimal search energy near 7 GeV.
Abstract
In this work, we explore the production of the newly observed charged charmoniumlike state by the photoproduction process . Our numerical result indicates that the maximum of the calculated total cross section of can reach up to the order of . Furthermore, the Dalitz plot analysis is performed by considering the Pomeron exchange as the background contribution. This analysis shows that the signal can be distinguished from the background easily and the best energy window of searching for is GeV, which is important information for further experimental study of by meson photoproduction.
