F. S. Gama, J. R. Nascimento, A. Yu. Petrov

TL;DR
This paper develops a general framework for higher-derivative three-dimensional scalar superfield theories, explicitly calculating the one-loop effective potential for both real and complex cases, advancing understanding of quantum corrections in such models.
Contribution
It introduces a generic formulation for higher-derivative superfield theories in three dimensions and computes their one-loop effective potential, which was not previously available.
Findings
Explicit one-loop effective potential for real scalar superfield.
Explicit one-loop effective potential for complex scalar superfield.
Framework applicable to a broad class of higher-derivative superfield models.
Abstract
We formulate a generic three-dimensional higher-derivative superfield theory for self-interacting scalar superfield action. We consider the cases of real and complex scalar superfields. For these theories, we explicitly calculate the one-loop effective potential.
