Reliable multicast in large enterprise networks
Abhijeet Bhorkar, Gautam Bhanage

TL;DR
This paper introduces RCNC, an architecture utilizing rateless codes for reliable multicast in large enterprise networks, achieving high throughput and near-optimal performance.
Contribution
The paper presents a novel architecture, RCNC, that applies rateless codes to improve reliability and throughput in multicast communications.
Findings
High throughput gains demonstrated
Reliability improvements shown
Near-optimal throughput performance achieved
Abstract
In this work, we have presented a complete end-end architecture to employ the rate-less codes. We have developed a new architecture Rate-less Codes Multicast (RCNC). This architecture is shown to provide high throughput gains, reliability and near optimal throughput performance.
