Mikio Nakahara, Tetsuo Ohmi

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of half-quantum and ordinary vortices in rotating superfluid helium-3 under magnetic fields, revealing how vortex configurations change with angular velocity and magnetic field, and providing a phase diagram for these states.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of half-quantum vortices in superfluid $^3$He, including their interpolation between singular vortex states and the phase diagram in parameter space.
Findings
Half-quantum vortices interpolate between different singular vortex states.
A phase diagram of vortex configurations is provided for specific parameters.
The study enhances understanding of vortex behavior in superfluid helium-3.
Abstract
Half-quantum votices and ordinary vortices in a rotating thin film superfluid He under a strong magnetic field are considered. It is shown that half-quantum vortices interpolates between singular vortices and singular vortices as the angular velocity is changed. The phase diagram of the vortex configurations in the angular velocity-magnetic field space is obtained for a paramagnon parameter .
