Unified Framework for Matter, Dark Matter, and Radiative Neutrino Mass
Ernest Ma (UC Riverside)

TL;DR
This paper presents a unified theoretical framework within grand unification models that simultaneously addresses matter, dark matter, and neutrino mass generation, linking their properties and stability at high energy scales.
Contribution
It demonstrates how radiative neutrino mass models with dark matter can be embedded in SU(6) and SU(7) grand unification theories, providing a natural realization.
Findings
Radiative neutrino mass models are compatible with SU(6) GUT.
Dark matter stability is connected to grand unification scale.
Proton and dark matter instability are related at high energies.
Abstract
The well-studied radiative model of neutrino mass through dark matter is shown to be naturally realizable in the context of SU(6) grand unification. A recent new proposal based on U(1)_D dark matter is similarly accommodated in SU(7). Just as the proton is unstable at the scale of quark-lepton unification, dark matter is expected to be unstable at a similar scale.
