Ting-Gui Zhang, Xiaofen Huang, Xianqing Li-Jost, Naihuan Jing,, Shao-Ming Fei

TL;DR
This paper investigates a specific class of bipartite quantum states where the PPT criterion fully characterizes separability, providing explicit decompositions for these states when they are PPT.
Contribution
It introduces a class of $n\times n$ bipartite mixed states with conditions for PPT and explicitly constructs their separable decompositions when PPT.
Findings
PPT criterion is both necessary and sufficient for this class of states.
Explicit separable decompositions are constructed for PPT states.
Conditions for PPT are derived for the class of states studied.
Abstract
We study certain quantum states for which the PPT criterion is both sufficient and necessary for separability. A class of bipartite mixed states is presented and the conditions of PPT for these states are derived. The separable pure state decompositions of these states are explicitly constructed when they are PPT.
