The observation possibility of $B_c$ excitations at LHC
A. V. Berezhnoy, A. K. Likhoded

TL;DR
This paper investigates the detectability of excited $B_c$ meson states at the LHC through specific decay channels, analyzing how soft photon losses affect peak visibility and exploring potential insights into the $\sigma$ resonance.
Contribution
It demonstrates that certain decay modes allow observation of $B_c$ excitations despite soft photon losses and estimates their relative yields at the LHC, offering new avenues for resonance studies.
Findings
Soft photon loss does not obscure peaks from $B_c$ excitations.
Estimated relative yields of $B_c^*$, 2P, and 3P states at LHC.
Potential to gain new information about the $\sigma$ resonance.
Abstract
It is shown that in the decays , and followed by the decay the loss of the soft photon do not wash out peaks from the initial excitations. The relative yields of , 2P-wave, and 3P-wave states of meson at LHC are estimated as function of transverse energy of emitted photon . It is pointed out, that the decays could provide a new information about a resonance nature.
