Jing-Bin Liu, Mao-Zhi Yang

TL;DR
This paper calculates the spectrum of heavy-light mesons like B and D using a relativistic potential model, improving previous predictions and providing new theoretical mass values for future experimental testing.
Contribution
It extends and refines the relativistic potential model predictions for heavy-light meson spectra, including higher orbital states and spin-dependent effects.
Findings
Predicted masses for B, B*, D, D* mesons and higher orbital states.
Improved accuracy over previous models.
Provides testable theoretical mass predictions for future experiments.
Abstract
We study the bound states of heavy-light quark-antiquark system in the relativistic potential model, where the potential includes the long-distance confinement term, the short-distance Coulomb term and spin-dependent term. The spectrum of , , , and states with higher orbital quantum numbers are obtained. Compared with previous results predicted in the relativistic potential model, the predictions are improved and extended in this work, more theoretical masses are predicted which can be tested in experiment in the future.
