TL;DR
This paper explores spectral data linked to U(m,m)-Higgs bundles via the Hitchin fibration, offering new insights into topological invariants and a geometric view of the moduli space.
Contribution
It introduces a novel spectral data framework for U(m,m)-Higgs bundles and provides a new interpretation of their topological invariants.
Findings
Spectral data associated with U(m,m)-Higgs bundles is characterized.
A new interpretation of topological invariants is proposed.
The moduli space is described geometrically.
Abstract
We define and study spectral data associated to U(m,m)-Higgs bundles through the Hitchin fibration. We give a new interpretation of the topological invariants involved, as well as a geometric description of the moduli space.
