Chao-Qiang Geng, Chong-Chung Lih

TL;DR
This paper investigates the form factors of the $ta_c$ meson using a light-front quark model, demonstrating consistency with experimental data and calculating decay constants based on different decay widths.
Contribution
The study provides a detailed analysis of $ta_c$ form factors and decay constants within the light-front quark model, aligning theoretical predictions with experimental and lattice QCD results.
Findings
Transition form factor matches BaBar data
Decay constant estimated around 230-304 MeV
Results consistent with lattice QCD calculations
Abstract
We study the form factors of the meson in the light-front quark model. We explicitly show that the transition form factor of as a function of the momentum transfer is consistent with the experimental data by the BaBar collaboration, while the decay constant of is found to be and MeV for by using two decay widths of and keV, given by Particle Data Group and Lattice QCD calculation, respectively.
