Evidence for Maximal Acceleration and Singularity Resolution in Covariant Loop Quantum Gravity
Carlo Rovelli, Francesca Vidotto

TL;DR
This paper argues that covariant loop quantum gravity predicts a maximum possible acceleration, preventing curvature singularities and supporting previous findings in cosmology and black hole physics.
Contribution
It provides a simple argument that covariant loop gravity implies a maximal acceleration, contributing to singularity resolution in quantum gravity.
Findings
Predicts a maximal acceleration in covariant loop gravity
Supports singularity resolution in cosmology and black holes
Aligns with canonical quantum gravity results
Abstract
A simple argument indicates that covariant loop gravity (spinfoam theory) predicts a maximal acceleration, and hence forbids the development of curvature singularities. This supports the results obtained for cosmology and black holes using canonical methods.
