TL;DR
This paper investigates how chromoelectric and chromomagnetic dipole moments influence single top quark production at the LHC, providing constraints that are comparable to those from top pair analyses.
Contribution
It introduces a method to constrain top quark dipole moments using single top production data at the LHC, expanding the analysis beyond top pair production.
Findings
CEDM and CMDM can significantly affect the $tW$-channel cross section.
Constraints on CEDM and CMDM are derived from experimental data.
Results are comparable to top pair analysis constraints.
Abstract
We study the effects of chromoelectric and chromomagnetic dipole moments (CEDM and CMDM) on the production cross section of single top -channel at the LHC based on the effective Lagrangian approach. We show that the impact of CEDM and CMDM could be large. Using the experimental measurement of the -channel cross section, constraints on CEDM and CMDM are extracted. These constraints are comparable with the ones obtained from the top pair analysis.
