More On Critical Collapse of Axion-Dilaton System in Dimension Four
Luis Alvarez-Gaume, Ehsan Hatefi

TL;DR
This paper extends the analysis of critical gravitational collapse in the axion-dilaton system to hyperbolic and parabolic cases in four dimensions, revealing differences in Choptuik exponents compared to the elliptic case.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive study of hyperbolic and parabolic ansätze in four-dimensional axion-dilaton collapse, completing previous elliptic case analyses.
Findings
Choptuik exponents differ across hyperbolic, parabolic, and elliptic cases
Hyperbolic and parabolic ansätze yield distinct critical behaviors
The study advances understanding of gravitational collapse in axion-dilaton systems
Abstract
We complete our previous study of critical gravitational collapse in the axion-dilaton system by analysing the hyperbolic and parabolic ans\"atze. As could be expected, the corresponding Choptuik exponents in four-dimensions differ from the elliptic case.
