Probing top quark electromagnetic dipole moments in single-top-plus-photon production
Matteo Fael, Thomas Gehrmann

TL;DR
This paper explores how single-top-plus-photon production at the LHC can be used to detect potential anomalous electromagnetic dipole moments of the top quark by analyzing kinematic distributions.
Contribution
It introduces a method to probe top quark electromagnetic dipole moments through single-top-plus-photon production at the LHC, focusing on kinematic distribution sensitivities.
Findings
Kinematic distributions are sensitive to top quark dipole moments.
Potential to detect anomalous electromagnetic couplings of the top quark.
Provides a new approach for top quark property measurements at the LHC.
Abstract
The production of a single top quark in association with an isolated photon probes the electromagnetic coupling structure of the top quark. We investigate the sensitivity of kinematical distributions at the LHC in single-top-plus-photon production in view of a detection of anomalous electric and magnetic dipole moments of the top quark.
